Using System Functions from the Outside
(DISA: Direct Inward System Access)
If this function has been configured (contact your service personnel),
you can set up external outgoing calls from outside the system, just
like an internal user. You can also activate and deactivate the follow-
ing functions in your system:

Prerequisite: You have a telephone that uses tone dialing (DTMF dial-
ing) or you can switch your telephone to tone dialing. The telephone
is not connected to the system.
j Set up a call to the system. Enter the station number (contact your
service personnel).
j Wait for a continuous tone (if necessary switch the telephone to tone
dialing), then enter the internal number that has been assigned to you
and the associated PIN.
( Enter the code (necessary only if programmed in the system).
j Wait for a dial tone and then enter the code, such as
*
97 for Do not
disturb on. Make other inputs as necessary; (refer to the operating in-
structions for pulse and DTMF telephones).
